EDI Reports for unicentaopos / chromispos -- 2

I am using unicentaopos in my fashion store.

I am working with several companies who sent me their product informations with edi-files.

So I already developed with a freelancer an edi-translator together with some stupid "excel magic" and so I can import the data in unicenta/chromis (i am still on unincentaopos 3.81 in live system waiting for the first final Chromis release).

The EDI standard is EDIFACT D96A, so i can work with PRICATD96AUNEAN006

This way is working fine, but now some companies want to have daily sales reports in EDI-format and a monthly stock information.

The reports, also the csv reports are still not clean and nice in unicenta so i have to adapt them also if i want to use my EDI-translator to convert them from CSV to EDI.

So my idea is to create directly 2 new reports which Show me my desired data directly in the right EDI-Format.

So I need 2 reports:

NEW REPORTS

- create new report in Unicenta (jrxml) -> inventory

- add option to select 0 stock products are shown or not

- create new report in Unicenta (jrxml) -> sales

SAVE AS EDI

- create option to save as EDI(text) file in the "Export" section; activate it only for the new reports

- Java code to save the report as EDI in the format desired by partner (will require different code for the two reports, as they are different)

- in the Run Report page, there should be a checkbox: "Save EDI report" if it had to be saved automatically

EMAIL

- create button to send by email and Java code for it (use JavaMail API - maybe easy to integrate in Chromis) - instead of using a batch script my first idea (Java works better with Java :) )

- this option should be a choice when saving as EDI (checkbox in the Run Report page to send automatically when the report is running)

(nice to have?) MENU TO SAVE EDI INFO

- add new menu only for Administrator/Manager to allow configuration of:

- the partners for which the report will run (so when it runs automatically, it will know from this setup for which categories to run)

- the GLN code for each of them (association with categories)

- the email address of each of them (where to send each report)

- the email configuration for sending the reports (SMTP server, email account, password)

This information might be saved in an XML-file for not having to touch the datamodell…

And also possible for not making the development to complicated that this input data will be edited directly in a textfile.

My old freelancer, a very good programer, has no time at the moment for such a project and he is new to unicenta - but a specialist in EDI.

So i hope to find here a solution.
