Hello. 1. Create a child theme that can be tweaked without breaking the main theme when the main theme is updating. 2. I'd like to modify this child theme by getting a plugin written, to add a new option in the portfolio areas to select 3 colours in css and add this as an overlay when mouse-over and pre loading the portfolio image. Breakdown of plugin : - create an new colour picker in wordpress admin / portfolio / portfolio item - allow user to pick 3 colours OR pick colours from current featured image - create css gradient using these colours - display gradient when preloading featured image and when mouseing over - keep current title etc from main theme visible Must fully test before installing on site - will install on dev site before installing on main site. Mustn't break main theme! Current theme : kalium Thank you

Hello, My name is Luciano, I am a web developer with experience in Wordpress I can create a plugin that will allow you select 3 colors in a select picker and apply them to the overlay and preloading image. And of course use a child theme to avoid getting the code erase on theme update. I have a few questions: - One color will be for the overlay on mouse over that is currently in red with some transparency and the others colors will be for the gradient when image is preloading? - Or gradient will on preloading image will use the 3 colors?
