Cpanel/Linux Expert Needed for Broken Cpanel

I need an expert in Cpanel and linux. My cpanel installation won't upgrade. A year ago I installed percona 5.7. I tried downgrading to 5.6 and that didn't work. I tried switching back to MariaDB and that didn't work. Basically, I am trying to upgrade cpanel from version 64 to version 68 and it fails to do so with a mysql server error.
