Hello, I'm using chat software called Arrow Chat, and I'm experiencing a few bugs. When we access the popout chat and actively chat with another user in the room, placing an emoji before a line of text cause the text to be enlarged, which does not happen if the emoji is placed after the text.
One of the other major issues we're experiencing concerns an auto-refresh phenomenon. Again with the popout chat, after idling for a few moments, it refreshes itself and sends users into whichever tab appears last under their main chat window. I'd like the auto-refreshing to either not happen, or allow users to remain in whichever tab they have active at the time.
Another problem we're having is that when an embedded image or video is posted, the chat does not auto-scroll as it should. If we post text afterward, it does auto-scroll, but otherwise the chat stops scrolling after a video or image is posted. Also, it would be wonderful if embedded images could appear as thumbnails that can be clicked to be enlarged, in order to prevent clutter in the chat.
One other issue is that when a user posts an emoji or an image, the red 'X' that the administrators and moderators see, allowing them to delete a posted message, appears far to the right, as if the image is left aligned and the 'X' is right aligned. It's the opposite when you are the one posting them. This is a minor issue, but I find it troublesome, as do some of my other users.
There is also a feature I would like added, which is the ability for users to "mention" or "tag" multiple other users. As it is, only one person can be tagged at a time. Clicking another name in the chat window erases the first, where instead it should simply add another tag after the first. Also, I would like users to hear a tone or a sound when another user tags them in the main chat.
Hello,
Thanks for contacting. I have worked for one of my clients with arrow chat. I just went through the list of bugs you provided. I am positive that i can tackle these issue for you.
Can you please provide me a URL where i can see the chat popout?
Thanks
