I have a barcode app here: [login to view URL] Currently, a user creates a new card by manually entering details into a form from their loyalty card or ticket. The issue is that users don't understand barcode types. I need the user to be able to create a new record by uploading an image of their card and the app then recognising the barcode type and barcode number from the image. Once the app has done this, it will then navigate to the existing card creation page, but pre-fill the form in terms of barcode type, barcode number, and checksum, leaving the user to add or amend details as needed. The solution must not involve server changes, e.g. it must by JS driven. Expectation is that this is an easy piece of work. See the process diagram attached. Current card creation process and new card creation process.
