I'm looking for a data scraping (preferably PHP) and Salesforce API expert.
Data Scraping:
I have a website that contains a table of records (5,000 records with page navigation). Accessing the website is by using username and password. The website is secured (HTTPS).
Every record has a couple of fields. I'm interested ONLY in 2 fields - Contract ID and Status. For every record I need you to scrape out the Contract ID and Status.
Salesforce API:
I have 27,000 accounts. For every account, I have 2 fields - Contract ID and status. I need you to match and update these 2 fields in Salesforce based on the scraped data, using Salesforce API.
To sum up:
1. Data scraping: log into the original website, start with row 1, scrape out row 1's Contract ID and status.
2. Salesforce API: look for the first Contract ID you just scraped out in all accounts. When you find it, update the status based on the status from the scraped data.
3. Continue to row 2 in the original website, do the same, and so on.
4. Create a simple report that shows which records were updated with old status and new status.
5. Done.
(my server has cURL, soap and SSL)

Re Salesforce API, we can use the REST API and consume the required method, parse its JSON response, extract the desired values and complete the task per row.
