I need someone to write a program that takes the content of any website and puts it into a file importable by wordpress, xml or spreadhseet. In an ideal world, it would take out the header, footer, etc..and just leave the page content. The program should strip all html except links, images, paragraph breaks, bold, and italics.
It should take the title of the page and assign it to a WordPress page title, body content to the content field, etc..
I don't expect this to be done perfectly, but let's talk about how close you can get and for what price. It can be in any language or command line script, but it needs to work on my mac.
A good place to start might be with: wget --mirror --no-clobber --page-requisites --html-extension --convert-links [url removed, login to view]
