Current Process

During an academic year, the curriculum is designed, developed delivered to schools. The current process involves the following steps in delivery of curriculum to the schools:

- The curriculum (content and methodology) is generated by the planners.

- For a given academic year, the curriculum is divided into volumes.

- Each volume has various component files to be used for teaching the assigned curriculum. They are:

i. Teacher’s Kit – a set of documents that the teacher can refer to for getting information about the curriculum provided in the plan documents.

ii. Assessment Kit – a set of documents to be used for assessment. Includes question papers, helpdesks etc.

iii. Teaching Aids – a set of files (Audio, Images, Video, PPT) that are provided to teachers as support files to make curriculum more engaging/meaningful.

Expectations from the new technology solution

The new technology solution will be the platform that allows client’s material to streamline current curriculum production and distribution method catering specifically for:

- Publishing segemented curriculum at the board, school, teacher, student and parent level

- Assessment of the educational effectiveness of the curriculum published

- Performance monitoring of staff school and students

- Virtual learning environment to facilitate learning experiences for teachers and students

- Online teaching methodology and teaching timelines provided by the system to the classroom teacher

- Intuitive easy to use interface with rich graphical multimedia applied within the students learning experiences.

- Administrators will be able to extract statistical information about individual students and assist in directing future resources to improving educational outcomes.
