Project Goal: Create a Shipment Tracking Plugin for Wordpress that provides vital information for shippers on the location, pickup and drop-off times of the shipment. Plugins to Incorporate: WooCommerce WooCommerce Auctions Pro by IgniteWoo (Optional) Ultimate Member (Optional) GeoIP (optional) WooCommerce Custom Fields by RightPress (Optional) Mobile App Geolocation Company Description We are a small startup localized courier company. We match local couriers with people who need things shipped to another location. We “sell” local couriers the right to courier packages that are posted to our site using a Reverse Silent Auction powered by Woocommerce Auctions Pro by IgniteWoo. Plugin Objectives: Facilitates the tracking of the couriers once they have won the reverse silent auction Informs the Shipper: when the courier will pick up that load, where the courier is on a map, the estimated arrival time based on rate of travel to destination, a way for the courier to confirm the delivery of the shipment, a delay of the payment for the reverse auction until delivery confirmation. Place a Map using a shortcode that located all users of the “Courier” user type on a map Integrates with our existing Wordpress theme, preferably with shortcodes Things to Know: Couriers have a mobile app version of the Wordpress site powered by AppPresser with geolocation to feed the map stored on the database Shipment Pick-up Time and Location, as well as Delivery Time and Location are specified as a part of the WooCommerce Product as a part of the shipment posting using WooCommerce Custom Fields by RightPress
