Build a Website

I'm looking to build a custom portfolio website for my photography business. The layout itself would be very simple—basically a slideshow with access to thumbnails, an about me, and a simple mobile version. The killer app, though, would be a drag-and-drop slide editor in the backend. This will give me the ability to create dynamic layouts of multiple photos per-slide, but also having each photo be indexed individually leading to a more responsive website, better SEO, and a cleaner thumbnail experience. Being able to play with spacing and scale (and maybe even overlay?) within the slides is very important to me. I found a developer who built a similar feature for another photographer, and he wrote about his process here: [login to view URL] There are a few design flourishes—I thought it may be interesting for the menu to dynamically change color based on the most prevalent color in the current slide. Not only would this be a “neat” feature, but I like it especially because it’s still in service of the photography. I know this could be done automatically, but it may be more precise if there was an input for a hex value for the menu bar in the backend that could be changed per-slide. I am a designer, so the reference photos are pretty accurate to how I'd want the final site to look and feel. Looking forward to finding the right candidate for this project!
