We currently have a AWS EC2 Instance that uses Wowza streaming engine to send video streams and meta data to clients. We would like to change the setup so this now uses a CDN and S3 bucket for video distribution. The contractor would need to change our PHP code to get this working. We would also like instructions on how to create a new instance.

Greetings to you. I would strongly suggest that you use Amazon Cloud Front (CDN) with S3 bucket store. Making necessary modifications to the scripts which store and index the videos would be a very easy task for me. I am AWS consulting partner, and have enough experience in providing custom solutions on AWS and its services. Please take a look at my past projects, clients and their comments. I was off from freelancer for quite a time due to health issues, but now back and active. For me to work on the system, I will need a full access IAM user. You should not share the root account of you AWS, rather create an IAM user from the IAM console, and attach Administrator policy to that use. Set the password manually and send me the credentials. For you EC2 instance you should add my public key, to the primary user and provide me with sudo access. Hope we can do the activity very soon.

Amazon CloudFront is a content delivery web service. Amazon S3 is cloud service to store and retrieve any amount of data from anywhere on the web. With Amazon S3, you pay only for the storage you actually use. I will do the integration and required code changes. I am the lead in this firm with about 30+ members in house.
