Project name is LIBRIS
Requirements:
Company wants web sites made for famous authors. Each microsite is for each author, and all sites must link to one another as well as to a main site.
Sites must load quickly, be properly formatted for searcg engines and spider, and be visually appealing.
A user will be able to go to an author's site at [login to view URL] or at [login to view URL]
Each of the microsites must refer to the other so as to build google ranking.
You will be required to create a standard template for all microsites, the landing page for the central site, and CREATE THE CONTENT.
This means you will be required to produce ORIGINAL content, not directly copied - unless it is in the public domain - about the author, along with a general biography and pictures and relevant graphics. Each microsite can be as little as 1 page or as many as 10 pages depending on how well know the person is, the volume of information available, and the books the author has written.
You will also have to imbed links to [login to view URL] and other booksellers into the pages - each page should have a toggle logo that has a US/UK/Canada/Japan/France/German/etc flag that will change the bookseller links for the appropriate country of the visitor. Each microsite whould also have a page with bookseller links for each publication of that author, listed by country. If an author wrote 5 books or has 3 movies from books, and the 5 books and the 3 movies, etc. are available from 3 shops, then each book with the link to that seller is needed, and the same goes for each country - if the book is sold in 4 countries, offer the choice of click on the country, and present the correct page.
All rights goes to buyer. You will not be allowed to reuse or recycle the content that is created for this project.
You can use any technology you want, but information must be updated easily from one central administration point.
We will supply names of booksellers for linking and access to their databases, but searches of the authors and the book titles at Amazon and Barnes and Noble after the biographies are completed will provide the majority of the links required.
You can make a bid for the entire project, or for the project with a fixed number of microsites and a per microsite rate on top.
Standard terms, with a portion paid with content being prepared and the proporational balance as each microsite is delivered.
