I am looking for an auctionlynxx cross-selling ebay tool clone, with a few changes. An example of their current program can be seen here: [login to view URL];rd=1&item=230205487120 , about 1/5 of the way down the page. With that example as the basic idea, now onto what I'm looking for it to do: Back End: - Needs to interface with the ebay api to retrieve the current auction info. (current bid, time left on auction, high bidder, reserve, buyout, auction image, etc) - Store the current auction info in an xml feed every predetermined amount of time (I'm thinking every 15 min, but make it a variable within the php file that can be easily changed) - Format the data so that the front end can retrieve it whenever an auction is opened on which the front end is embedded. - Interface with a mysql database that has a table as follows: - Auction # - Category - Subcategory - Title These fields will then override the category, and title of a listing if they are present, otherwise the backend will utilize the auction title, category, and subcategory that the ebay auction is listed under. Front End: - While the auction items are loading a custom logo needs to be displayed. The logo needs to be embedded in the Flash file itself but be one that I you can easilly instruct me how to change in the event that I want to change it's look. - The color scheme needs to be something neutral that will work in pretty much any ebay listing, while at the same time be appealing to the eye. I'm thinking a little edgy, but not too edgy. - The items categories need to be loaded in the left hand side, just as auctionlynxx does, and the listings themselves need to be loaded in the right. - Categories need to expand and collapse when clicked upon if they have subcategories under them. - When the program initially loads, it needs to default to the current category/subcategory that the viewed item is within. - Total width of the application needs to be 750 by 400 pixels. I have attached some sketches that I have made, along with rough sizes (these sizes are not set in stone, but give a good indication of the spacing that I envisioned between elements). The ability to take advantage of additional width by if available would be a plus. - Items images should scroll from the left to the right at a constant rate, and stop scrolling when someone mouses over the bottom bar. The scrolling should be continual, and start again from the first item once the last one is reached. in the event that there are too few items and even having images of them all up at once will not take the entire bottom bar, the program should just load them all and center the images and not worry about scrolling. If the items are scrolling and they scroll off the page, a visitor should be able to click on a back or forward arrow to shift the images one in either direction. - When an image, or item listing link along the right is scrolled over the application needs to pull up the info about this auction, and then pull it over to the left most position of the auction images. It then takes over the left most auction image position, and pushes the auction image in the leftmost position off the screen and to the left. The auction will remain there in that position for 10 seconds (once again this needs to be able to be changed easily within the flash file). Once the time lapses or another auction is scrolled over, the looked up auction fades out and the new one replaces it. After the 10 seconds are up, if a new auction has not been scrolled over. The inserted auction will fade out and the displaced leftmost auction will scroll back onto the screen. - Currently selected category or subcategory needs to be highlighted in some way so that a person can easily see in which category they are viewing items - When someone expands or collapses a category it needs to smoothly show or hide subcategories, much as auctionlynxx does currently. - Scroll bar only appears for either side if there is need to scroll, otherwise the area that would be occupied by a scrollbar remains blank - Auction images need to be contained within a 100x100 area, and have their maximum border shrunk to fit. An example (although not to scale) is attached ([login to view URL]). That way all auctions will take up a set width and height as they scroll. - Text in titlebar needs to be centered, of a larger/bolded font, and needs to be dynamically grabbed from the back end program - Copyright info needs to appear centered along the bottom most banner, and needs to be something that I can easily change from within the flash file. - The category side of the application needs to scroll in the event that too many categories exist. The listing side of the application needs to show all the possible auctions, unless there are more than twice the number that can be seen at one time on the screen, in which case it needs to cap at the maximum number of visible entries and next/previous links need to appear with which to navigate. - Also in the category side, just as with auctionlynxx it will need to provide the number of items in each category in parenthesis - Auctions should be listed in alphabetical order based upon title. - People need to be able to scroll left and right through the auction images manually if they miss something or want to simply advance the auctions for some reason. I require all copyrights to this program and will email a full copyright release form to you before we begin the project. Please sign and fax back the form.
