WIMI Development Scope This is a redesign of an already existing website. The site is currently is ASP and will be redeveloped in PHP using WordPress. Stage 1 1. Wordpress conversion/redesign A) Design 1) Update overall design using extremely clean, but more aesthetically pleasing layout 2) Include multi-platform design (iPhone, iPad, desktop, net books, etc.) 3) Cleanup sidebar area and provide more division between sections 4) Give Proxify a clean, exclusive advertising page 5) Ban homepage for all text-based browsers B) Functionality 1) Open forum in new window 2) Move actual speed test to top of page instead of below into paragraph 3) Add blog or news section to navigation 2. Subscription/Membership section with PayPal integration A) Membership 1) Customer signs up (First, Last, Email, Phone, Payment Info) 2) Membership grants them paid level access (See 3-B) B) Cost This will be a hybrid of "Pay What You Want" - payment will be for annual membership. 1) SCREEN 1: Allow members to enter in the price they want to pay a) $6/year or $.50/month minimum suggestion already filled into payment field (grayed out) 2) SCREEN 2: a) Ability to choose between (check box) two separate charities to donate 50% of their membership fee to b) The charity chosen and amount needs to be saved into a database c) Ability to have monthly report sent to a specified email address including each charities earnings 2) SCREEN 2: If a minimum of $6/year or $.50/month is not entered, ask if they are sure they don't want to donate more 3) SCREEN 3: Request membership info (First, last, email, phone, address + billing info) 4) SCREEN 4: Enter CC info (if more than $.00 gets entered for payment 5) SCREEN 5: Confirmation page + total + the charity they chose to donate to - "Submit Payment" 6) SCREEN 6: Confirmation email sent to member & notification to admin letting them know someone signed up 3. Banning Rules A) General Rules 1) Ban home page for all text browsers (by identifying UserAgent) B) Member Banning Rules (must be logged in) 1) Ban automation page by IP lookup frequency: a) More than 60 lookups/Hour by same IP = ban for 24 hours and IP logged as abusive (STRIKE ONE) b) Previously abusive IP and > 60 lookups/Hour again = ban for 48 hours and IP logged as STRIKE TWO c) Second strike banned IP: > 60 lookups/Hour again = ban for 7 days and IP logged as STRIKE THREE d) Third strike banned IP: > 60 lookups/Hour = ban for 7 days C) Non-Member Banning Rules (or logged out members) 1) Ban automation page by IP lookup frequency: a) More than 12 lookups/Hour by same IP = ban for 24 hours and IP logged as abusive STRIKE ONE b) Previously abusive IP and > 12 lookups/Hour again = ban for 48 hours and IP logged as STRIKE TWO c) Second strike banned IP: > 12 lookups/Hour again = ban for 7 days and IP logged as STRIKE THREE d) Third strike banned IP: > 12 lookups/Hour again = ban for 7 days
