Ticketbis like website and technology

I would like to build a website like ticketbis ([login to view URL]). With term "like" I mean a similar software script and optionally similar graphics and design. The content (eg: ticketbis is about tickets) is not the same and is secret at the moment. For the sake of simplicity let's the content be tickets also for my project, I'll change it by myself in the future. The main parts are: - The homepage should be like ticketbis: a search form to query all the data in the database with suggestions and so on, focused and suggested events and all the other links. - A "sell" section where sellers could insert a post about their tickets to sell. Here is the tricky part I think, because it shoud have the collection of data (event, location, date, etc.) all linked together in the background (database) to be queried in all the possible ways (by date, by location, by most viewed, ...) and also it needs a top security method to handle the sellers' credit cards. - When the deal occurs, the website has to take an amount of money from both seller's and buyer's credit cards just to ensure that they will not change their ideas in the meantime and then proceed to return the money back to seller once the event has been completed. So the tricky part here is to handle credit cards transactions as well as security system. - (ticketbis doesn't have this) A feedback system where buyers and sellers exchange their feedback each other like eBay or Amazon (actually Amazon feedback is only one way but could be ok). - A very strong database design, scalable and versatile. - A newsletter system. - A user profile management (photo, feedback, name, username, password, ...). A required thing is the entire project (source code, project flow, charts, etc.) must be commented and well documented in all the parts because I will adapt it to my needings and possibly extend it in the future. I'm a software developer not so skilled on PHP, Database and software architecture, so I need your help. Feel free to request more info and explanations of every sections of the project.
