Our current retail website at [login to view URL] is terribly out of date in it's design. The site was built using html, and php/perl scripts, and has a Mysql database, and a basic backoffice. The site is running on a remote Fedora server maintained by a hosting company. We would like someone to revamp it, and give us a more up to date design. Something with a back office where we can maintain the site, and upload new product. Our current website has approx 25000 items (mostly vinyl records), so we need something that can handle that number of items. Currently, we are exporting inventory from our in house accounting system via text file, and uploading it via MS Access, to our Mysql server.

I would be interested in helping you bring this up to date. We could base this on a Drupal system, and integrate all the e-commerce elements fairly easily. It might be possible to use your current database and just tweak it for this update... Not only am I developer, but I play funky tech house on the weekends ;)
