Flash print proxy

Flash object that can be embedded on a web page to fetch a print job from a url and send it to a network printer on the client PC LAN

Should read 3 flashVars

1) url to fetch

2) ip address of printer

3) tcp port of printer (default 9100 - jetdirect)

The display a print button on the web page.

When the button is pressed fetch the url and send it to the network printer on the client side.

NO manipulation needs to be done on the print job, it will already be in the right format for the printer. Just fetch and send down the local LAN to the printer.

Would be nice of the colours, text and text size of the button can also be read from flashVars.
