Project Background: We are intending to build a travel related website which makes reservation for both hotels and flights. The website will be travel portal using Affiliates programs ( such as Epedia & Booking, etc ) to create combined database, compare prices and make reservation and payment to the affiliates within our website. The above will be the basic idea, new methodology of search (search engine), data manipulation and result presentation will be used and will be declared only to the qualified freelancer Project Tasks (2 Weeks period): We need the following tasks to be done and the payment will be divided among them as milestones: [login to view URL] and provide alternative solutions and technologies for our website. This includes finding the best affiliates that fits with the recommended solutions by providing the needed technical documentation and requirements (this might need communicating with the affiliate's provider). Suggest and recommend the ideal solution by providing justification. (5 days period) [login to view URL] a list of the best website developing companies (at least 10 companies) which specialized only in the travel and hospitality field that will be able to develop the chosen solution. (3 days period) [login to view URL] proposals (at least 5 proposals) from selected companies. (6 days period) Notes: •Freelancer could provide his own proposal if he/she is capable of develop the solution. •Upon the completion of this project, new project will be created to select project manager who will facilitate the development project with the selected system provider. The priority will be to the one accomplish the current project. Prerequisite: [login to view URL] should provide signed work for hire and non-disclosure agreement. [login to view URL] should provide evidence of expertise in the travel and hospitality field development such as resume, portfolio, etc. [login to view URL] should be easily reachable via email, Skype, phone calls for updates every day. Respected Mr. Abaday, This is TG Shakthi from Chennai India, and I read your project specifications in full, Here is my understanding of your requirements, 1. We need to provide the Technical documentation on how to implement the project and its functionalities. This is like a complete project plan and Data flow diagram to show how the project will proceed in estimated time frame. 2. Provide a list of best developing websites who have previous knowledge in Travel Related websites, 3. Get the proposals from the Companies and submit them. Also give a writeup on why the companies listed are best in terms of ranking and so on, Notes : We ourselves are developers and we are proficient in Travel related web developments. Before going deep , we need to get a login from major Travel Booking Agents like "Amadeus", "Worldspan", "Travel Port" etc. and to get a login you need a IATA licence from the Goverments (Depends in the country where you want to get the IATA Code" ). And once you get the login from a minimum of 3 GDS we need to code it in our system to get the base fares and Taxes based on the country. The best development for the booking engines that talk to the GDS is Java, Servelets and topped on by dhtml and jquery . These open source are the best to develop with security and tamper proof transactions between the clients, users, GDS and the administtrators .
