web front end for a vb application

I have an application written in VB6. The app consists of a data entry screen which allows users to enter data and recieve prices for 10 insurance products based on the information they have entered. The program also allows the users to print off proposal documents in Microsoft Word which are populated with these details. Users can also retrieve the data they have entered and re-calculate the prices at any time. The calculation methods are hardcoded into the vb6 code and use some databases (MS access). All data storage is via MS Access. I now require to offer this program via the web. However i do not wish to have to re-write the calculation methods manually as they would have to be retested by external organisation and this would be time consuming. I need some type of website which would allow the users to enter the information on the web portal and then pass the data through the existing vb6 app on the webserver. Users would need the same functionality as the original program including the ability to print or download populated proposal documents and also the ability to save the information for retrieval. The data is sensitive client info so would require good security for storage of the data. Also the access to the site would be for account holders only so i would need some way of verifying this which would involve something which could be loaded on the pc to stop users sharing logins with their colleagues. I have had some suggestions to re-write the code in vb.net or another web based language but this is not suitable as it would involve the re-testing as outlined above. However we need to get the new web application to use the existing vb application to avoid re-testing. Whatever solution is arrived at must leave us in a posiion whereby we can make amndments to the vb program calculation methods and these changes would also occur on the web based solution. Maybe we need to make our vb project into a com object and then get the web site to look at this??

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

The present app is in vb6. require site in php, asp or .net - whatever does the job!
