CREATE web api to connect database with SQL Server 2008 with web server running mySQL / PHP

NEED to create a database sync between two database platform one windows SQL 2008 and the other mySQL running under cPanel or linux.
If anyone is skilled enough or have done something like this in the pass please message me.
I have a local web server with the site running on it right now (windows server 2008) and it's running fine. It connects to my webserver also running windows. I have configured Logshipping to match the database so my website can read that large amount of data in our webserver.
I have two servers. Both running SQL 2008R2 and doing logshipping.
local server has a test site and SQL running on it. Both working and running fine.
SQL database send a copy of the database using logshipping to the live web server.
SQL Logshipping is running fine on the live server but sometimes the connection between the logshipping drops.
I wish to not use the windows webserver and switch it to a linux but, still need the data to sync up into my website.
what would be the best way to approach this? any suggestions?
Need the job fix as soon as possible.
