Upgrading and Modifying Opencart Module

Dear Programmer,
I'm currently using opencart module to grab products from a big market, module downloads all product details like name, description, options, attributes and can choose the category and manufacturer for the created tasks, module updating the products options and prices based on predefined cron job, there is a bug in the module and I failed to get the developer to do as he seems very busy, so I decided to hire a freelancer to fix the bug and add some other functionalities to the module,the requirements as the following:
1. Bug: If product removed from the big market the module set the product out of stock in open cart, which is a good thing, but if the product still in the market but out of stock the module can't recognize that and keep the product in opencart.
2. additional functionality 1 : I need the module to grab the available stock for each product option(color and size) and update the stock status in opencart for each option and disable that option if it out of stock while the product still available with the remaining options.
3. additional functionality 2 : I'm not sure if this can be done in opencart but I found it in shopify together with Oberlo module, I need the grabbed options for the color to be connected to related image, so when user choose black color Shirt for example the image will will change to the black color shirt image which is already grabbed by the module.
4. additional functionality 3 : The module works by adding new tasks and in the tasks link of each product is copied and pasted in a text field form input, once task is created there is no chance to modify this field by adding/removing products, this can be done in the database using phpmyadmin but I need to do it from the module itself.
