Garageband Expert for touch up

Hello, I'm by no means a professional musician. I would say a campfire guitarist. Anyhow, we are expecting our first child in June and I wrote and recorded a song for him in Garageband, that could use some professional cleaning up. For one I would like a simple percussion beat under the guitar melody and vocals. But I can't seem to use the guitar band drummer effectively enough to create something in time with the rhythm. Secondly, I have a couple of strong guitar plucks throughout the song that are noticeable. Would like those softened. And lastly, I have a 8 measure section of the song right now that is just guitar melody, that I think some sort of guitar solo over top would make more interesting. But I'm coming up blank on what to play there. I have attached the song as it sits now to this posting. The percussion beat at the beginning is along the lines of the type of subtle sound I would like for that. Skills Required
