Phenomenal Swift/Java Android Developer with FRP knowledge for ongoing work

Hi there! Up until now, we've done purely iOS development, but it's time to expand into Android. But here's the deal, we don't just want to re-write our apps in Java. Everyone knows that's incredibly difficult to maintain. It's bad for us, and it's bad for our clients. We also knew we wanted to write fully tested code using the principles of Functional Reactive Programming. And so we created this little framework: [login to view URL] The framework allows us to rapidly write clean, well-organized code. The framework also allows us to write super-simple, easy to under-stand tests so that our codebase is fully-tested with almost no additional effort. But it allows us to write a platform-independent functional core in Swift, and then a thin imperative shell in the platform's native language, using the platform's native user interface. In other words, the bulk of our our code is shareable between platforms, but we're still building fully native apps. We just finished up an iOS app for a client built this way, and now it's time to apply it to Android. We need an Android Developer with deep knowledge about Android. And if you know a little Swift too, that's a huge bonus. You'll be working with our lead iOS developer to write the imperative shell for Android. This will be our first time doing this, so there may be some issues we'll need to figure out. In other words, you'll need to be someone who can solve problems in a clean, elegant way. It's also critical that you be able to write grammatically correct English. In many cases, you'll be communicating directly with clients, so English is important. We also frequently do quick calls to rapidly resolve issues, so your spoken English needs to be good as well. As part of your application, please send us a link to some code samples from your prior work. Ideally, we'd like to see non-trivial code that solves real-world problems in a clean, elegant way. If you'd ever done anything with functional reactive programming, that would be awesome to see. If not, send over a few view controllers. We’d also love to see anything with TESTS.
