You will join a team of exceptional developers working in a fast-paced environment to deliver world-class software. Full-stack developer position for our fantasy sports marketplace application and website with backend written in Ruby on Rails. This person will be building and maintaining features for the product, from conception through development and deployment. We’re looking for someone experienced and passionate, someone who wants to build things and has no fear of giving inputs. To ensure success as a Ruby on Rails Developer, you should have extensive experience working with Ruby and back-end integration techniques. 1. Responsibilities • Write clean, maintainable, reliable and efficient Ruby code • Design robust, scalable and secure features • Create back-end components • Connect the application with the other web services and servers • Develop new web applications • Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design • Integrate data storage solutions • Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team • Extend and maintain APIs and existing web applications • Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle • Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards) 2. Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (priority) • Proven work experience in software development in general and Ruby on Rails in particular • Experience working with Ruby on Rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec • Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery • Proficiency with Git and Github • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM 3. Nice To Have • Experience of having built web-scale or online gaming products • Experience with React.js or Vue.js • Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Postgresql • Comfortable with Docker. 4.
