Firebase Cloud Messaging for Unity3d does not support custom layout for push notifications, and also does not allow showing notifications if the application is in background or killed, only in foreground.
It is required to extend the Firebase Cloud Messaging library so that Unity can use the predefined custom layout for notifications. It should showing notifications also in background and killed mode.
