Dear coders,
I'm planning a mobile app that alerts its users about a new coin listing. I know there are tons of Twitter and Telegram bots out there providing this as a free or paid service, but barely any has been outstanding, thus quick enough. There's an existing mobile app already but it is too slow to actually be useful for trading on listing events: [login to view URL]
Since not every listing leads to price gains, I'd focus on the major exchanges Coinbase, Binance, Bittrex, Upbit, and maybe Bithumb for now that do have an impact on price.
The to-be-built bot will connect to the above mentioned exchanges via API, scans for new coins/tokens/pairs and sends an alert to the user (Android/iOS) via push notification. For some exchanges like Binance, it will have to fetch these listings from the exchange's ZenDesk profile as early as possible.
Eventually, I'd like to get the app to do auto-buying on these events when users connect their exchange API key, maybe even provide auto-selling. This is a feature that doesn't have to be there in the initial release, but it will become relevant down the road.
Budget-wise, I can solely offer a variable model that rewards long-term by profit-sharing of the commercial mobile app as with the CryptoTrackerBot. If we can get to 10,000+ downloads as well and share all earnings through the app stores, the spent time will be worthwhile. Please consider though, that this project will require ongoing maintenance and optimization according to platform variables and market dynamics. I will cover marketing, hosting fees, provide customer support and develop the website.
Please respond when you have substential experience in exchange API endpoints and can provide testimonials of your previous coding jobs. Let me know if you consider yourself confident enough to take on the work yourself or prefer a development team and in which regard. Please also specify your frontend, backend, mobile app programming knowledge, when you can start, how responsive you are during the day along with your main profession and/or other job commitments if any.
Best, Milan
