[login to view URL] is written to relatively frequently when kodi is running even if it appears idle (total system uptime is recorded in [login to view URL] for example) and if you pull the plug while changes are being written and the file becomes corrupted, on next boot kodi will detect corruption of the file and will throw it away to generate a new default guisettings.xml. I would like the new generated default [login to view URL] to be the one I have created. I using this on a MX2 android TV box but the only way to turn off device is by power button on the remote which it like pulling power plug on the box. therefore when device is powered off via remote and the guisetting get corrupt, the app will just generate my custom guisettings. If it possible, I would like to be taught how to do this as time goes I will be doing regular updates and the custom guisetting will change over time.
