SSIS package works on ETL concept means extract transform and load, In SSIS we can extract data from multiple data sources like excel,Facebook,text file,SQL server e.t.c. , and perform transformations on that data we can upload into a data source after that we can create a report on SSRS , which will connected with that data source and show that data. hi there. as i understand you need to rewrite etl-logic to ssis-package and control its execution in logs. without details its seems to be more expensive task than you suppose. as certified mssql expert i will hold you on right way. regards, yuri.

Morning, The Powershell script can be added directly to a SQL Agent Job and logging can be added to the Powershell script too. Both things are fairly easy. Is there another reason to convert to SSIS? Thank you, Jason
