i get this error from a new script i have just uploaded to my server:
ModSecurity: Request body no files data length is larger than the configured limit (1048576).. Deny with code (413) [hostname "...."] [uri "/modules/[url removed, login to view]"] [unique_id "..."]
i know that i have to customize a rule SecRequestBodyLimit for modesecurity .
this is the offending id: 340159
i know i have to do something like this SecRuleRemoveById 340159 and then increase the limit by restating the rule.
according to the docs here
[url removed, login to view]
i have to make a custom file so that the rule is not overwritten when modsecurity is updated.
however there is a note here that cpanel users have a different dir structure and therefore the config differs from the one in this doc. i am not a server administartor so i am unsure about the correct paths and how do it properly. i have no time for this and want an expert to spell it out step by step
so i need step by step instructions for what to do and i will do it in cli. and i mean step 1... step 2.... etc... exact instructions from the beginning to end. i work with ssh often so i dont need instructions on how to login/use ssh, just the commands to run to create a custom dir, then create the file in the dir with the rules and then tell modsecurity to include the file i.e like is explained in the doc.
my mod_security files are located here: /usr/local/apache/conf/modsec_rules/
