My name is Rob Kelly I am the owner operator of a mortgage loan lead generation website [login to view URL] I run my business from home office in Shepparton Victoria.
The objective is to help customers find mortgage brokers that can help with a specific type of loan, matched with those mortgage brokers being in close proximity. Deliver an ad that encourages visitors to call 7 days until 9pm. and or complete lead form. Would also want to if possible set a time ad schedule to run ads at chosen times.
It is Australia wide service. I have a very successful Google Adwords campaign that i manage and has been running for 10 yrs plus. Having spent over $500,000.00 AU $ so far.
I am looking at different options to generate leads and have been tinkering with Facebook paid advertising. Or any other social media promotion that might be suited to my business objective.
So far seems that the cost per lead is much higher and the quality is not as good. Research suggests that this is common, as google search is specific and Facebook users are not actively searching more of a curious click through. Or even competitors having a look.
Because the traffic is relative instant like Adwords that i should have an expert produce a best practice structured facebook ad run for a week and see what happens.
i am keen to expand my business but it will always come back to the cost per lead and the quality of those leads. My target cost per phone or form lead would be $10-15 a lead. My efforts have produced $50 a lead which twice that of my Adword campign and of a lesser quality.
My target audience is anyone that might be considering a mortgage loan now or in the future, with age range 25-55
One thing that i have had trouble with is choosing the audience interests. With mortgage loans not sure who to include or exclude if at all.
