I need a comic reader for iPhone for the comic I'm making. This comic will have images, small videos and a soundtrack. The reader have to show the images, show the ballons over images and play the videos. User will touch the right side of the screen to go forward in the story, the left one to go backward. More details below.
The app will be driven by an XML file, whose schema I'll give you. This file will specify:
1. the intro video to play when the application starts;
2. the menu items to show when the intro video ends;
3. the list of images and videos to show; videos don't need additional info, while - for every image - the XML file will contain:
3.1 a list of ballons to show over the current image, in the correct order of viewing;
3.2 the song to play (from which second and for how much time);
4. the final video;
5. the credits, to show in a scrolling view and the last song to play.
Images, videos and the text of the ballons must be loaded from external files (however in the sandbox of the app).
Ballons are simple text. The app must have a set of blank ballons of mixed sizes and will choose the best blank ballon to fit the current text to show. When user tap the right side of the screen, the app will show the next ballon in the list; when there are no ballons to show, the app will show the next image or video in the list. The same for a tap on the left side of the screen, but the app will show the previous ballon or image. When the app show a new ballon, the old one will disappear.
I'm a coder too, so I want to be able to modify the app. The code must be well documented, with inline comments and external docs (if necessary). Variable identifiers, class methods, etc. must have an English intuitive name.
