Challenging iOS app

I need a highly skilled iOS / Cocoa developer to work intensively on a challenging new app. The core of the app will be a map engine similar to that of Google Maps, which will load image tiles at different zoom levels and allow zooming in and out, e.g. by pinching, while maintaining a seamless display by combining scaling of tiles with switching tile sets. (None of the other Google Maps features, like GPS integration, searching, etc will be relevant). In addition to the map engine, the project will include several simple data layers that will be overlaid on top of the map and a simple communication protocol with the server (e.g. to fetch the data used for the overlays). You will not need to work on anything except the client-side. Before sending you a detailed spec that will allow you to bid I will send you an NDA to sign, but first I will need to make sure there's a potential fit. For that, please post a comment with the following: • describe your experience in iOS / Cocoa development • if possible, include 3 direct links to some of your most impressive Mac or iOS apps till now (at least 1 link should be to an iOS app that you made) • have you developed on app specifically for the iPad? • what is your availability? (days per months, hours per day, when can you start, etc) • although this is a pay-for-deliverables project, just for me to get a rough sense of pricing, what would be your fee per one month of intensive full-time work?
