I'm a freelance graphic designer in Australia and have hundreds of PDF forms that continuously need to be tweak and updated. I'm looking to build a working relationship with someone who can help me out with the fillable cells, calculations and formulas.
I design forms in InDesign then export to PDF and build in the fillable cells in Acrobat Pro but I find it very difficult and often get random unexpected results. I'm hoping you can help me.
I've attached a form that I've built in Acrobat and as far as I can tell everything has been set up correctly but I cannot seem to get the totals at the very end calculating correctly.
Each product shown has a set price and a fillable cell for the quantity, which then goes to the total cell and should calculate in the totals at the end of the form. In addition, at the end there is a set handling fee ($35), a total excluding GST (tax), the GST sum (15%), and then the final total.
The client likes to be able to press the 'tab' key on their keyboard to cycle through the fillable cells in order - I use the 'manually' setting in Acrobat but this can be problematic and give varied results.
Are you able to let me know if you can help me fix this form, and how much you would charge? If you are able to help that would be fantastic. I could give you lots of work…. applying edits to existing forms and building many new forms from scratch. Ideally I'd like to start outsourcing all of this work so I can focus on design.
