In most cases the server is already properly configured to support loopback connections, but godaddy's resource limits and shared resources prevent the API calls from being made properly. GoDaddy is extremely bad in terms of hosting, I recommend a more stable VPS host such as OVH.com. You could acquire a cheap VPS for under 5$ a month and prevent the headaches you will suffer through GoDaddy.
