I am a Londoner born and bred, but my heritage is from the West Indies. As a child I used to holiday in Trinidad on my Grandma's farm in the lush countryside. There, I would watch as she cooked for her nine children from sunrise to sunset.
My idea is to bring a bit of this home cooking to London, with it's fresh, seasonal produce and unique mix of herbs and spices which I believe are the original in fusion cooking. Influences from China, East India, Southern India, Europe and South America have blended together and this food is often vegan, always fresh, delicious, different but familiar and comforting.
I need a logo and brand design to reflect this (see brief) and very basic website. I am holding my first event in November 2017 so need to direct people to a site and be enabled to buy a ticket ( I will be using eventbrite to facilitate this part).
My deadline is 30 September as I want to start marketing my event w/c 2nd October.
I will need to be able to expand the website, add a blog and have a CMS in December, so whatever is produced needs to have capability to incorporate this too.
