Each of the attached approx. 47 pictures need to be cropped and resized as follows:
For each picture, crop by selecting a rectangle which includes any and all magazines which appear in the picture plus a border of about 10 to 25 pixels from the edges of the magazines. (Obviously, do the best you can in cases where the magazines are cut off the edge of a picture.) Save this file by appending a "c" to the end of the original filename. (e.g., [login to view URL] becomes 00c.jpeg.)
Then, take the cropped picture and reduce it fourfold, i.e., using a factor of 25% of the cropped picture's dimensions. (e.g., An original picture may have been 800x600, and after cropping, it might be 700x500. The reduced version will now be 175x125.) Save this file by appending a "q" to the end of the original filename. (e.g., [login to view URL] becomes 00q.jpeg.)
Caution: The attached zip file is about 13 meg!
## Deliverables
Delivery is
*two* sets of files: one with just the cropping, and one with cropping and resizing. There will be approximately 2 * 47 = 94 files in the final delivery.
* * *1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Any platform supporting JPEG files
