Hi there, my name is Camille and I am working and living in Playa del Carmen - Mexico. I've been trying to develop my professional webpage for a while but unsuccessfully. I have been working in the dive industry for the last 18 years and since 2015 I am working independently from any dive operation. I am mainly dedicated to the Professional training for people who wants to get trained and certified as Scuba Diving Instructors and in technical diving (Deep and Deco dives / Cavern and cave environment). I am quite well recognized in my field, mainly on the French market, but I would like to develop it to other regions. I would like to get a quote with a detailed project plan and timeline for the creation of a website. Objective of the website: Selling Professional & Technical Scuba Diving Courses. The website will be the unique selling method for this business beside the word of mouth. Audience: worlwide: divers from all other the world should come here to do the course with this company Text/Images ready and available. Using wordpress with existing template or create new template if necessary. Hello Camille, I would want to build this using WordPress and an appropriate theme which I could modify. If you're not familiar with WordPress, it's a content management system that will allow you to continue to make changes to the website after it's up and running, with no coding knowledge. It will also allow for easy expansion down the road. I also want to make clear that I am not a graphic designer. There are a multitude of available themes for WordPress that are responsive, professional looking and customizable, and could be easily adapted with imagery and colors to achieve a professional/scuba/Caribbean look. Many also have multi-lingual capability built in. So instead of wireframes, we would be looking at themes together. If that sounds good, please contact me. I would prefer a longer process of getting specific for this site, to know what we're both getting into before I write a line of code. Some things I'll want to know initially: - Please provide the mentioned site map. - Do you have scheduled courses that divers can join, or do you teach based on their schedule? - Do you have a link to an existing site? Hello there. welcome to freelancer. ty for describing your job. lots of ppl just do 1 sentence and expect us to explain more than that. anyway. here is two paths for what you want: 1- CMS (like wordpress as you mentioned) 2- website from scratch. --- ill explain both to you, but in short i can help you if you choose the second method. -- so CMSes are faster, cheaper, even better in terms of look, and even performance. but they are like Lego. they are not much flexible. So if you are planing to grow your business. or you plan to add/change feathers of your website or you want the custom functionality (which i think this is your case) you CMSes like wordpress start to get more hard to manage. like building custom themes and plugins trying to meet all your needs. About technical parts we can talk and i can give you some options and you can choose from. about terms. we first talk. and then i can put time to make a plan for your project. and there i can give you accurate time, money and feathers. so you may open chat so we can talk more.
