* Graphic Designer wanted for Print

Looking for a graphic designer qualified in print to produce small full color advertisements. Some will have supporting images. Some will not. We will provide you with all copy, ad information and full access to clipart and stock photos (where applicable). Project will begin with 20 small ads total. See attached layout for size requirements. Portfolio items required. We will not consider a freelancer without one. With the right person, job may lead into a long term relationship with several jobs in the future. We currently have 180 projects in the pipeline and business is projected to double in size within 6 months. Requirements - ability to create an aesthetic design that conveys the correct message to a target audience - good concept of color and color schemes, depth, spacial differentiation and hierarchy - knowledge of tools: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat CS2, CS3 or CS4 - diverse in conception- proving artist can work in different styles - ability to follow directions and complete projects on task and on time - knowledge of pre-flight packaging, pre-press preparation, web & print formatting - ability to design static images from web - print, raster vs. vector, & skilled in swapping between CMYK, RGB and PMS with clear knowledge of resolution differentiation - be able to read, write and speak English well... also spellchecking for grammar and punctuation is a must! - good knowledge of typography - self-disciplined and familiarity working with deadlines MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT: The project is for 20 ads total. You can choose to start with 5 or 20, your choice.. However many you choose to begin on must be turned back in within 48 hours. We feel a reasonable timeframe for ALL 20 is 7-10 days. Each small full color ad will contain: - A Company's Name or Logo - A Company's Address, Phone, E-mail and/or Web Address - A Small Promotion or Advertisement- for example, 10% Off with this ad or Cut, Color, Style Only $47!, or.. Mention this ad and get a free flower... etc.. - The ad almost might contain a small supporting image. This is not anything intricate, but we are looking to create a long term business team, so if you have experience in intricate design as well, that's a bonus. The ad will be created in CMYK 300dpi and vector where applicable. This project is for 20 small ads.
