Excel guru needed for long-term E-commerce and Shopify product formatting

I now understand that there are projects on here that want free work done – this is not one of those jobs, but I need to know if you have the basic skills (formulas, VBScript) to perform 90% of our required tasks. You should never do anything for FREE! I hope this post finds you healthy and safe. My client requires 1, maybe 2 Excel gurus for immediate short term to probable long term e-commerce work at least through the end of the year. Shopify experience preferred but not required. Must be able to think dynamically and have a great knowledge of Excel formulas and/or VB Script to automate the formatting of thousands of products on a regular basis. Additional knowledge of other e-commerce platform formatting a plus (Volusion, Big Commerce, Magento, Houzz etc.). Very strong English communication skills required. English is not a required primary language. You MUST be proactive, anticipate, ask questions, initiate concerns and be open to instruction and critiques as we work together. I do not want to chase you for work, timely responses or to fix mistakes. Hard workers with good attitudes have nothing to fear. We can make this enjoyable and develop a friendship while getting a lot done. Ideal candidate can be available to work sometime between 12PM and 12AM EST. You are not required to work all that time but we need some overlapping working hours sometime during the day. Daily communication is not required but daily availability is required. 30-40 hours available for the first few weeks at least, if not permanently for the right candidate who can work independently and in a timely manner. Familiarity with Slack and Trello required for communications and Assigned Tasks. You MUST be able to work online on either Excel Online or Google Sheets, even if the majority of your work is done locally. No one who doesn't read this entire post will be eligible for this job. Scripts and bots that auto-populate a proposal will be detected and ignored. To that, in your proposal please briefly talk about your faith, tell me your favorite color and one thing you enjoy outside of work. I am hoping to build a long-term relationship with the right candidate as our e-commerce businesses are growing and we will be adding a 3rd Shopify store in 2021 (among other endeavors). This job is a small test job, and will determine who we work with long term: Attached are two test spreadsheets - A NEW spreadsheet from a manufacturer and a CURRENT inventory from one of our stores. Your first task is to identify which products in our CURRENT inventory have been discontinued (SKU is absent from NEW). These are products we need to DELETE. Your next task will be to identify what products from NEW are missing from CURRENT. These are products we need to ADD. Your last task is to take a list of image URLs and assign each, by SKU, to their corresponding product (see third spreadsheet for example). These three tasks are critical for our business. I want to see some kind of formula (or VB script) in your work as proof of your skill. If you can quickly do this, then you have a good chance of being considered.
