I left my position at Canterbury Christ Church University Conference as an events and hospitality assistant in 2012. This was a high pressure but enjoyable job that became increasingly demanding after a reduction in the size of the team. I decided to leave my employment to spend more time focusing on my personal life, looking after my house and household and funding myself through freelance online work.
