ORPD OF POWER SYSTEM NETWORKS WITH DISTRIBUTED GENERATION USING PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMISATION
The project is about optimal reactive power dispatch with distributed generation of a case study system ie (IEEE 14Bus ) using particle swarm optimisation. The project should be done in Matpower and the results should be validated using Newton Raphson method. The distributed generation(DG) should be a wind turbine,Enercon E82 E4 with a power rating of 2500kw, and can deliver [url removed, login to view] of reactive power and arbsorb 1Mvar. The results should show a decrease in transmission power loss when the DG is connected and operating at full speed. You can follow the attached document.
