I am a Chemical Engineer with more than 30 years of experience and a wide and versatile knowledge in Chemical Sciences and Technology. I obtained the degree of Chemical Engineer in the School of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Del Zulia (LUZ, Venezuela), and I did fourth level studies obtaining the Master's degree in Chemical Engineering Sciences at the Universidad Del Zulia ( LUZ, Venezuela) and PhD in Fundamental and Applied Electrochemistry at the University of the Andes (ULA, Venezuela). Currently I work as Professor and Academic Advisor of the Chemical Engineering Program of the National Experimental University Francisco de Miranda (UNEFM, Venezuela) as a teacher and researcher in the development of research in the area of corrosion in the study and deterioration of materials metallic, especially in research applied to the solution of problems in the national oil industry, in the analysis of faults of metal materials due to corrosion problems. I have developed different research projects in the evaluation of polymer coatings and corrosion products in different media, applying spectroscopic techniques such as: Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), EDX Energy Dispersive X-ray and XPS-X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy -FTIR
