I am building paper roll to sheet machine which is made from: 1. Arduino mega 2560 or some other controller 2. Nextion 4,3 tft 3. nema 32 stepper motor with driver 4. nema 24 stepper motor with driver for cutting action 4. Omron rotary encoder 2000 p/turn (as nema32 stepper feedback) 5. relay shield 6. microswitches for roll knife position and roll unwinding Machine would operate similar to machine in link, however because of encoder feedback it would have to be very precise: [login to view URL] For more info please contact Best regards Martin

I have some queres if you answer them Will there be two omton encoders used for each motor or only for 32 steps stepper motor What type closed loop control you have in your mind like PID etc What environmental conditions where you want to install this setup like temp humidty.

we did some Arduino based automation for automotive collision device recently. so it would be one more great experience for us to design a new machine based on it. We suggest to go with Raspberry Pi 3 for better reliability and life.
