Electromagnetic FEA of Induction Motor

LIM FEA: I have experience in simulating and building several types of linear machines both PM and induction machine. I have a masters in electrical machines and am looking for some engaging work on machine analysis and design and this fits by bill perfectly. If you provide a DXF and IGES file i will as part of the first assignment do the following: 1. Setup an 2D FEA model in MAGNET, Infolytica with all material properties, meshes and excitations for a static problem, 2. I can then perform a Static 2D simulation at various positions to generate a Force speed characteristics. 3. In the next stage I can generate a transient simulation with motion and also generate force velocity curves, magnetic field plots etc. 4. Make a 3D simulation model (easy to setup but very time consuming to run(4hours-1day depending on complexity)) if and only if required. 5. Further, I can advise on and deliver an optimized machine geometry to meet your requirements should you need it.

which model you want , long stator or short stator, that they the magnetic and electric circuits of these two types of LIM and their equations are different.
