SYNOPSIS OF THE PROJECT: Saleem is a story of human vulnerability and maliciousness, as it questions the notions of free will and human altruism. Saleem and Hamada—two Yemeni immigrants, close friends and roommates—struggle to contain themselves after an American drone hits Saleem’s house in Yemen. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROJECT - The director is Yousef Assabahi, a Yemeni-American film student from UCLA. The entire budget for the production is only $5000. - Only 4 production days. From Thursday, Nov. 30th to Sunday, Dec. 3rd. - The entire Production Design budget is only $800. We are aware that this is not a lot, and we offer to split the estimate into two equal parts, one as a salary ($100/day rate), and the rest, the project's costs. VERY TIME SENSITIVE.
