Fill in a Spreadsheet with Data

Hi everyone, Thank you for taking the time to view our market research task. Please see below for instructions and overview. Come back to us if you have any questions or concerns. Task overview: You will be provided an excel sheet with 1500 rows of English addresses. It's your job to fill out at least 1000 lines with the below information: 1) find the 'registered company name' associated with each address 2) find two contact names for that 'registered company name' - This will need to be a CFO, FD, Company secretary or Director *Please note that the 'trading company name' is not needed it is the 'registered company name' that we require in the excel sheet. See Instructions Below. Task instructions: 1) copy the address and paste into google. 2) when the results show click the website that appears (the company website that is associated with the address). 3) Search and browse the website to locate the 'registered company name' (the 'registered company name' usually displays in the following areas of a website: i) the terms and conditions ii) the privacy policy page iii) the about us page. 4) Paste the registered company name into Linked in or [login to view URL] and select your desired company. 7) enter the registered company name, contact name and contact position to the corresponding fields in the excel sheet, for the secondary contact their title is not needed Additional notes: -You will notice some columns in the excel sheet are in black - please ignore them as they are of no use in this task - if for any reason you are unable to find the registered company name' or the contact name please mark the row as orange. - At least 1000 rows to be fully filled with the registered company name, contact name and contact position. if more than 500 rows are orange we will provide you with additional leads to sort through to hit the 1000 target. - The quality of the data must be accurate and will be checked before payment is released. - We estimate each row to take between 3-4 minutes on average. - Ideally we would hope to have 1000 completed rows within 2 weeks but please let us know your timings. I have attached the data spreadsheet to this posting and ask that you fill out the first five as as an example that you understand the project. Just a few notes that will be helpful when filling out the example: -If you cannot find a contact on [login to view URL] then you can often find a name of the owner or a director/CEO on their website or via Linked in -When googling an address, if the company is not easily found then you can mark this in orange and move on but please make every effort to find the registered company name - It's important that you find the registered company name ie. Limited or plc name as this will be important when you are searching for the correct contact - With independent companies (Ie. not owned by a bigger company) You need to ensure that the address matches up when searching in companycheck.com. If you cannot find it there then you will most likely find the name of an owner/director from the website on the 'about us' or 'Team' page. In this example the name would be Abigail Osborne as she is one of the owners which you will find in the description on the 'about us' page. For contact names you need to look for two of the following in this order: - Financial Director/CFO of original company (for bigger companies the FD of Costa would be the contact rather than the FD of Whitebread plc) - Not all companies have an FD/CFO so if it does not appear on the website's team page or via linkedin then move on to find owner/CEO - If you cannot find either of the above use a current Company Secretary or director of the company found on [login to view URL] We have lots of data to sort through and if the data is accurate and sent in a timely manner then we would be happy to hire you on an ongoing basis.
