Since you already have the excel file and you know exacticaly what you need I think that It won't be a problem to design the required database. First of all I need to check the excel file and seek for the best way to import data into the database. Regarding the new software I will provide a database which will be really easy to operate with as little user input as possible (the navigation will be through navigational forms, with buttons and drop down menus).
