Aim: A windows GUI tool is needed to convert a path string, input by a user via a text field, into a new path string. The new path string is created by the old path string, where a certain part is substituted by another part. To identify what to substitute, the path string needs to be parsed and compared to a list of possible strings from a CSV file that defines old and new path strings. Why: Due to a server merge, folder and sub-folder structures changed. This tool is needed to convert path strings that were valid with an old server structure (eg. existing links from emails) to path strings that are valid in a new server structure. The conversion from old to new folder paths is known and defined in the aforementioned CSV file. More details: See attached file.
