I need a code to use RTC (DS1307) to turn on Arduino Pro mini and trigger a soil moisture sensor (I already have this part of code) and if the sensor reading for more than 30 ... need to trigger a relay (close) and sleep again until next hour... if sensor reading is less than 30 need to trigger a relay (open) sleep again until next hour. using wifi module (Access point) or another suggestion, I need to send to arduino some parameters ... 1 - frequency to trigger soil moisture .. could be each hour, each 2 hour or each 5 minutes ... save on EEPROM 2 - soil moisture valor ... could be 30 or 40 and etc .. save on EEPROM 3 - If possible show last 10 soil moisture reads ... keep last 10 reads and when connected using AP show these value. Keep in memory only ... if the Arduino has a energy failure, could be clean this info 4 - Adjust RTC timer 5 - Using AP .. need to see battery status

Hi, I'm an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in Arduino based programming. I read your project description and it seems you have done the most of the work with Arduino device and RTC. As per my understanding, I need to do the sensor reading part as well as relay activation. I can help you with that with my experience of this domain. I actually have been doing a similar project for more than 10 projects and it's a really easy task for me. Also since you are interested in WiFi-based solution as well, I can give you a suggestion. We can get rid of Arduino and use ESP8266 based NodeMCU board. It also has internal RTC as well as build in WiFi. So what we can do is put it on the sleep mode, and wake it based on the timer value. (For power saving). Then once you have the device activated, read the value from soil moisture sensor and read it. We can have a server running on ESP to an external web browser to display the last 10 values as well. I can decide an Android app for these tasks as well. I have the most of the devices to test also at my end. I'm very confident about completing this project successfully.
