I am an English as a Second Language teacher. I want to teach my college students how to write short expository essays. Since I don't have examples for expository writing on some topics, I am looking for someone who has experience in expository writing to help. The task is as follows:
1) I need nine short and simple expository essays (250-300 words each) suitable for ESL Intermediate level students.
2) The topics should be about:
a) Friendship (three essays)
b) What 80 million Egyptians or 310 million Americans or ............ Pakistani people or .............. Indians or ............. Chinese people have in common? Please talk about the country you you are from, it is open! (three essays)
c) Comparison between living in a big city and a small town/village. (three essays)
So I need nine different essays about the above mentioned three topics to be written in simple English suitable for intermediate or upper intermediate college students and each essay should be between 250 and 300 words. Since you are required to write three different essays about each topic, let make it clear here that each essay should read different in terms of vocabulary use and style. Each essay should conform to the following structure:
